- London: The City of London clears sidewalks after 8 cm of snow and encourages owners to clear in front of their homes.
- Windsor: Windsor By-law 8544 requires residential owners and tenants to clear sidewalks within 12 hours after snowfall or ice forms, and commercial owners and tenants within 4 hours (during daylight, or 4 hours after sunrise for overnight snow or ice).
- Kitchener: The City of Kitchener requires property owners to clear snow and ice from sidewalks around their property to bare pavement within 24 hours after snow stops.
- Waterloo: The City of Waterloo Snow Removal Bylaw requires property owners to clear snow and ice from sidewalks beside their home or business within 24 hours after a snowfall or ice build-up, with fines of $100 for a first offence and $400 for a repeat, plus cleanup costs.
