SnowPlowInsurance.ca ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to requests you submit through it.
Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit a quote request or contact form, we collect the details you enter, which may include your name, business name, phone number, email address, province and city, services offered, equipment, crew size, revenue range, contract requirements, current insurance details and claims history.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring pages through cookies and similar technologies, including analytics tools.
How We Use Information

How We Share Information
Partner brokers. When you submit a request and give consent, we share the details in your form with one or more insurance brokers licensed in your province so they can contact you about insurance for your business. Brokers are independent businesses and handle your information under their own privacy policies. Brokers may pay us for advertising or referrals where provincial rules allow; see our referral disclosure.
Service providers. We use third party providers for hosting, form processing, email delivery and analytics. They process information on our behalf. Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
Consent and Withdrawal
Our request form asks for your express consent, using a checkbox that is never pre-ticked, before we share your information with a broker or a broker contacts you by phone, email or text. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected] or by using the unsubscribe link in any email you receive. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot complete your request. To stop receiving communications from a broker, contact that broker directly or contact us and we will pass on your request.
Retention
We keep request information for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes above and to meet legal and business record keeping requirements, then delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your Rights
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or ask questions about how it is handled, by contacting us.

Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
